Love is found at Woodstock but separated by the Vietnam war. Can they find their way back to one another?
June comes from an upper-class family in Connecticut. Quinton comes from Greenwich Village. They meet at Woodstock and fall madly in love. Against June’s wishes, Quinton enlists in the Vietnam War. They write letters to one another during his boot camp as June spirals into a drug and alcohol-soaked hippy culture. Once shipped out, Quinton learns of his degenerative eye condition. Eventually, June also ends up as a nurse in Vietnam, but they are separated by time and an unusual turn of fate when she is rescued by an ex-boyfriend.
After the war, both struggle to adjust. June’s marriage becomes abusive and she feels unable to leave. Quinton’s vision deteriorates further; he is going blind. They run into one another and find they never forgot about each other. They fall in love once again. Over time, and with the help of Quinton’s love, June garners the strength to leave her abusive marriage. They end up together after many years apart proving the most important things in life are those you cannot see.

Season of Love is a story that spans many years. It starts in the wild days of Woodstock where our leading couple is young and have their whole life ahead of them. As the years go by, life takes them to places they never expected. The story speaks to the difficulties of youth, of interracial love, and of times of war.
This story follows the changing of time and how it can bring challenges that force us to grow in unexpected ways. Both June and Quinton must face internal and external demons that have them asking who they are and what they really want from life. Although it is set in the 1960’s and 1970’s, themes of love, struggle, and overcoming impossible odds will speak to modern viewers. It is a story that reminds us that love can conquer all.
