The Unseen Wound
Billy Thomas served his country in war, fighting battles so people halfway across the world could enjoy freedom. He gets home, Sarah is there to welcome him with open arms, ready for their lives to get back to normal.
But like many soldiers returning from the battlefield, the war followed Billy home. Flashbacks invade his daily life, a backfiring car sounds like incoming fire and Billy can’t tell the difference between reality and nightmare. How does a soldier get help when he doesn’t know what needs fixing?
The Cost of Freedom Isn't Free
At least 1 in 5 people in combat suffer Post-Traumatic Stress and Billy Thomas is one its victims.
When he returns home from war, he wants to leave the fighting behind him. He wants to love his wife and his kids. He wants to go back to his life before the bullets and bombs.
But the war has followed him home in ways he could not imagine. He’s lashing out at the people who love him most. He knows he needs help, but he doesn’t know who to ask or where to go. And the faith that was so strong in his life before the war has all but left him.
When a soldier is adrift, how does he find his way home?
